This scholarship program, established in May 2005, was named for a former SCI REMC Operation RoundUp trustee who had a special interest in the arts, athletics, parks, and recreation. This scholarship encourages graduating high school seniors to further their educations. Funded entirely by voluntary contributions from our members, this scholarship program will provide up to five (5) $1,000 scholarships for 2-year or vocational schools or 4-year colleges and universities.

This program is open to all SCI REMC residents of Brown, Clay, Johnson, Monroe, Morgan, Owen, and Putnam counties who meet the criteria established by the Operation RoundUp trustees. The selection of recipients is based on academics, school activities, community activities, work experience, and essays.

Applications are due February 28, 2020 (noon).

2020 Application for 4-year college or university

2020 Application for 2-year college, vocational, or technical school
